COMBAT tracker level i and ii

Course Overview

The purpose and aim of our Combat Tracking Program (CTP) is to train selected personnel in visual and technical tracking skills. This includes; techniques, tactics and protocols for a variety of mission sets and operational environments. Combat Tracking comprises a multitude of individual skill sets and "craft" that culminate into one "point of fusion" within the Tracking Team and Combat Tracker.

This course is designed for; Counter-Poaching Units, Military, Park Rangers, Law Enforcement and other agencies who are tracking in a hostile and dynamic environment.

The  Combat Tracking system that we deliver integrates find, fix, track, target, engage and assess, with intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance ,  find, fix, finish, exploit, analyze and disseminate (F3EAD).

F3EAD is a natural evolution of targeting, combining aspects of the conventional intelligence cycle and doctrinal operational planning with best practices and emerging tactics, techniques, and procedures forged in worldwide overseas contingency operations.

Identifying and evaluating target footprint and gait analysis, spoor and sign visual indicators, assessing the age of spoor, footwear and tire impressions, animal and vehicular movement will be covered in both lecture and FTX in the Combat Tracker Program (CTP).

We incorporate P3I (Pressure, Pursuit, Positive Identification and Interdiction Operations), COIN and CT tactics within our Combat Tracker Program (CTP) to address the various operational needs/enviroments/roles the Combat Tracker is utilized in.

The Combat Tracker is a “point of fusion” for various refined individual skill sets and craft  that support a multitude of combat, counter-poaching, enforcement and clandestine operations.

The Combat Tracker Program (CTP) is divided into two evolutions which are 5 and 10 days in length. Training evolutions for courses will be conducted in both day and night time conditions. NOD's will be required for night time FTX's .

The Combat Tracker will use visual tracking to attempt to close the time-distance gap with subject(s) to the point of positive identification and interdiction.  Instruction and FTX's will include the following :
